Hey guys; I apologise for the long, unforseen absence. I'm back with a quick, simple post about Ralph Lauren. I will be back again in coming weeks with a look at this fall's fashion, in particular, Marc by Marc Jacobs'. I hope you are well.

I love the sharpness and simplicity of this jacket. It also holds a victorian style which makes it even more of an interesting piece.

I'm digging the Big Pony Collection! I am awaiting the multicolor match crest polo, but til then, this is great =D

Whilst I have my doubts about the brand and its general image, it is hard to ignore the fact that they do in fact produce lovely clothing. Here are a few of my picks;

'Natalie' £30

This is a great floaty top which could also be layered over thin sweaters to conserve heat! Lovely blue colour too - though it does come in others.

'Charlotte' £40

I had to include a polo. Theirs are understated yet elegant and are available in a wide, yet sensible, range of colours.

'Emma Destroyed Boot' £80

100% cotton has never been so versatile. I love these.

'Embroidered Leather Flip Flop' £40

Leather is the best material for shoes. It is breathable and odour-fighting. These flip-flops are well made, simple and do the job.

A beautiful, simple bag with muted colours but attracts attention with the striped scarf. A high quality accessory that would compliment any outfit.

Lovely spring colours with a cute mix of styles and textures. Would look lovely with a plain white or floral shirt.

A cute and simple accessory which will make your whole face sparkle! Hahah, well, I like to think so.

Juicy Couture Set of 3 Bangles, £59 from Net-a-Porter

Pastel colours mixed with glamorous gold - a sure hit with any outfit. I was inspired to choose these due to the quantities of gold Mischa Barton seems to be wearing at the moment!

Gathered Back Coat £70 from Topshop

A casual shade of green, neither winterish nor springish. The more conservative shopper could go for a black one similar in style. I normally dark, natural tones for coats - but this green is really quite appealing.

Yes, I have a big thing for Anthropologie. Goodness me, yes.

Fashions for Winter 2007

The New Year is peeking round the corner and with it come new fashions.

As always, Vogue online has PUBLISHED the list of things to come! I've scoured the Internet for the affordable, and slightly less so, followers of the rules. Oh, ok - I may have sneaked in a few extras here and there...

Here are my picks for Winter 2007;

3.1 Phillip Lim Cashmere Blend Cardigan; $525 from Net-a-Porter.com

Phillip Lim, I've noticed, has the ability to create clothes which serve well in all situations. His cashmere blend cardigan is sturdy and thick, yet intricate and cute. I admire Lim. His clothes are not the type to look at; not the type you smile and friends and boast about owning - but the type you wear to exhaustion and get complemented on.

A quirky and cute necklace that is sure to go with just about anything. Topshop recently stocked a gold version, similar in style to this.

Twinkle Smile Face Watch;

Aside from the fact that you will never know the exact time, this watch is a sure hit. The only thing it lacks is numbers - ironic.

Alexander McQueen Full Length Velvet Gown;

O__O If only.... McQueen's full length velvet gown is incredibly glamorous and yet simply attractive. I love the bell sleeves - a sure hit for early 2007. I usually dislike flesh-coloured fabrics with lace motifs on top, but I think I may be able to live with this, the minimal amount of square footage that it is. The deep maroon/purple colour would go well with a chunky pearl bracelet. =D

Juniors' for Target: Smocked Strapless Dress;
$24.99 from Target.com

Target doesn't disappoint with this unusually decorative piece. I like the thick, orange tie as it is well positioned and adds a decorative touch to the otherwise repetitive aeshtetics. The colours are unusually complementary. I like it. =)
